Monsoon Season - While we can run this tour during the monsoon season of June to September, we don't generally recommend it as the weather can be very hot & rainy, and the parks hard to explore.
OK Viewing - Late September to November is a good time to visit, as the weather is good, and wildlife viewing is OK. The elephant grass is growing tall however, which makes it hard to spot some wildlife.
Winter Season - This is a good time to visit the National Parks in Nepal. The weather is fine, and many migratory birds arrive from December onwards. The elephant grass is long however, which cuts down some viewing opportunities.
Best Viewing - The best time to visit Nepal's National Parks is between March and May. The annual cut & burn of the elephant grass is done during this season and this allows for much improved wildlife viewing. It does get hot towards the end of the season in May, so March & April are ideal.
