Tibet tours & holidays

Tibet sits on a huge high plateau between Nepal and China, and has been a magnet to adventurous travellers for years. It still retains much of its mystery, and the scenery is spectacular, with high mountain peaks and ice blue lakes, as well as surprisingly green fields and forests in some areas.

We start and finish all our tours that visit Tibet in Nepal, either crossing overland on one of the world's classic road journeys , or flying in and out of Lhasa from Kathmandu. A Tibet holiday can easily be combined with extra time in Nepal and/or Bhutan to create a more compehensive rewarding tour. While in Tibet, your tour can include a visit to Everest Base Camp from the Tibetan side. Almost all Tibet tours will include time in the ancient holy city of Lhasa, walking the streets, uncovering the temples and monasteries, learning about Tibetan Buddhism, and exploring the iconic Potala Palace.
