Nepal small group tours

Nearly all of our Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet tours on this website have regular small-group departures starting on set dates throughout the year. In order to provide the most personal service, and to make sure that you get as much out of our tours as possible, we like to keep our groups small. We therefore set the maximum number at 12 and the minimum at 2-4 people.

Tour leaders/guides

Our policy at Nepal Uncovered is to use only local guides and tour leaders, as we feel that this not only contributes to the local economy but also provides you with the best local knowledge available. Local guides can almost invariably give more information and bring a country, its history, culture and nature alive much more than non-native guides. All our guides are fully trained, have a good level of English, and are experienced in dealing with western clients. All trekking and rafting guides are licensed with the local authorities and have first-aid training. We select our guides carefully, and many have been working with us for several years. Our clients often describe their tour guide as being one of the highlights of their holiday.

Private Tours

Many of our set group tour itineraries are also available to be run as private departures. These are most suited to couples, groups of friends, and families who do not want to travel with larger groups, or for those who cannot find a convenient group departure date.

Our private departures can also be tailor-made to better suit your needs, please see below. The added expense of this more personal service usually incurs a small extra charge, the amount extra depending on the season in which you wish to travel.
