Sandwiched between a little time in the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal, this tour features 8 days in Bhutan for a fairly comprehensive tour at a relaxed pace. Highlights include the Paro Dzong and National Museum, a wide range of sites in and around the capital Thimphu, and a beautiful drive across the Dochu La Pass into the Punakha Valley to see the sites there. You also enjoy a spectacular walk up to Taktshang (Tiger's Nest) monastery.

This tour explores the three Himalayan countries of Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet, and give you a great introduction to their scenery, cultures and histories. The itinerary concentrates on cultural sightseeing, with some short and easy walks built in to allow you to get closer to traditional rural life as well.
