Economy Tours in Nepal
Our economy tours in Nepal include most of our trekking and rafting tours, where the level of most of the accommodation provided is by necessity, fairly basic (eg. trekking lodges, and river-bank camping). We use higher level hotels in Kathmandu and Pokhara so you can enjoy your time spent before and after your trek or rafting trip in comfort. The tours mainly use public transport, but some private transport will be used for sightseeing tours, and for journeys into the remote areas of Nepal where using public transport can be really hard work. The level of service provided is the same as on all of our other tours, and we include all transfers and provide fully trained local Nepalese guides throughout.
*New* - From July 2009, all our website tour prices include a trekking pack (sleeping bag, trekking poles, down jacket), all meals on your trek, and any internal flights. There are no local payments on these tours. All overland journeys between towns/regions in Nepal are now done using private transport instead of public tourist coaches (eg. Pokhara/Kathmandu, Chitwan/Kathmandu).
