A highlight of any time spent travelling is the chance to get close to and experience the local environment and its wildlife in their natural state. Chitwan National Park, and the more remote Bardia National Park, are some of Asia's most famous wildlife sanctuaries, and form the basis of our safari tours in Nepal. The jungle, forest, river and grassland landscapes are home to many birds and animals including the majestic Indian elephant, endangered one-horned rhino, and the ever-elusive Bengal tiger. Our tours combine a range of different safari activities in both of these national parks, as well as adding nature walks in the Kathmandu valley and more remote mountain regions, allowing you plenty of time to immerse yourself in, and experience the Nepal's natural beauty. Other parks such as Koshi Tappu and Suklaphanta may also be visited on private and tailor-made itineraries.
This newly revised itinerary adds a nature walk through the Nagarjun Forest Reserve and time at the remote Shreeban Nature camp to visits to the famous Chitwan National Park, best known for its population of the rare one-horned rhinoceros, and another superb but less-visited wildlife haven, Bardia National Park in western Nepal, where you have a better chance of seeing the majestic Bengal tiger.
