We are happy to arrange all of our tours for you either as ‘land only’, or packaged together with your international flights. All of the prices shown on this website are 'land only', and cover you from your arrival in the airport to when we drop you off there again at the end of the tour.
International flights can be added to your booking as an extra option at prices quoted by us at the time.
We offer our tours this way in order to give our travellers as much flexibility as possible with regard to their departure point, choice of airline, flight times and overall travel dates.
We will be very happy to book your international flights for you, and will check availability and provide a selection of options & quotes on request. Travellers departing from outside the UK may well be able to obtain cheaper fares locally than from us here in the UK.
If you would like us to provide some suggested flights and quotes to fit your tour, please contact us or make a note in our online tour reservation form. We will then provide quotes based on current availability and prices. You are not obliged to use the flights that we offer you and are welcome to search for other options if you wish.
We hold an ATOL (ATOL 10467). Many of the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. But ATOL protection does not apply to all holiday and travel services listed on this website. Please ask us to confirm what protection may apply to your booking. If you do not receive an ATOL Certificate then the booking will not be ATOL protected. If you do receive an ATOL Certificate but all the parts of your trip are not listed on it, those parts will not be ATOL protected. Please see our booking conditions for information, or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.atol.org.uk/ATOLCertificate
If you are booking a tour at short notice, we recommend that you check availability with us first before confirming any flights. We also recommend that you let us advise you of flight prices before confirming a tour booking as particularly during peak seasons these can increase significantly as the departure date approaches.
Each time you take a flight, CO2 is added into the atmosphere. CO2 is a greenhouse gas that is released when fossil fuels such as oil, gas and coal are burnt. Greenhouse gases are a major contributor to climate change and Uncover the World supports the principle of carbon offsetting. Offsetting basically involves paying someone to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere on your behalf. In that way you can pay for the damage you are causing by flying, and the money helps to fund transition to a lower-carbon world.
If you would like to offset the CO2 emmissions created on your holiday with us, we can suggest contacting Climate Care who will use your money to fund projects around the world. These involve:
So, as well as taking steps to reduce your personal 'carbon footprint', you can offset what remains, helping to promote low-carbon technologies where they have the greatest impact.
Visas are available to be purchased by most nationalities at the passport control desk when you arrive in Kathmandu airport.
After passing through immigration and passport control you will enter the arrivals hall. When you leave this hall, and enter the open air, you will see a service road directly in front of you, with a collection of tour company representatives waiting opposite. Our local representative will meet you there, and after introductions, will transfer you directly to your hotel. We run this service 24 hours per day, and will provide full details and arrival instructions when you book your tour.
We are nearly always able to make slight adjustments to your tour itinerary if required to fit the flights that you obtain.
